Why do you Peoples keep posting the AP pole

Its meaningless to us . and only Gives em the appearance of
acceptance !

AS far as Im concerned we had dropped OUT of the Poles last week and got Back IN this week .

 

Yea I was going to put the poll that didn't matter as the title but hey what can you do now? I couldn't correct it after I posted. You could've said it in the thread instead of making this one too. See we all make mistakes

oh and if you don't think it matters than don't post our accolades including XX weeks at #1 in the AP pole

 

Oh yea and I also added the coaches in there too so I mean its relevant.

Ohh but I meant as in making a thread for this lol... it wasn't thread worthy. You could've expressed your feelings in the ap thread. I hear you though the ap poll doesn't really matter unless a different team becomes ap champs at the end of the year.

Personally I think the meaninglessness of the AP poll deserves its own thread.

Their little hissy fit a few years back makes them as irrelevant as a Dr. Lou segment.

They do, but to me it's now as meaningless as all those different championships Alabama claims.

 

About as meaningful as an empty wallet.

WE Have, But Not since the BCS. All D1 teams agreed to the BCS . The AP said **** yall. we aint playing

I feel the same as you. The BCS was what was agreed upon, so that is what decides it. You are not the champion if you didn't play in the championship game (USC-2003). Screw the AP and their pole.

On a side note, we actually DO have an AP National Championship Trophy in the 2000 case in the Switzer Center along with the BCS crystal ball. Its not as pretty as the crystal ball, but its there....for what its worth.
