My head hurts. I can't tell if it's a toothache, my sinuses or an earache. It's not a throbbing pain, just kind of a dull pain in the area of my left jaw and ear. I had strep a few weeks ago, but I took all of my meds so I should be infection free. Right?

Should I go to the doctor or the dentist?

    Take your temp.

If it is high, go have a professional decide what is wrong.

If it isn't, just start pulling teeth.

Have the exact same thing in my left ear/jaw/sinus. This is basically the same conversation I had with my gf last night. I took some sudafed hoping it was a sinus drainage thing. Some of the pressure went down, but since I don't have a fever I'm assuming it's not an ear infection...probably not going to the doctor either way.

In all seriousness, think about the possibility of TMJ (you'll just have to look it up). Inflammation of the temporal mandibular joint. Its just in front of the ear. Do you also stiffness in the neck or shoulders? Very common problem. Treat it with lots of ibuprofen.

I had it often prior to having my wisdom teeth out.

You have a stopped up line that goes from your throat to ear.........I'm not a MD....Well maybe I am. You're clogged up in the drainage dept.

Maybe it's a Hunta Virus. Does blood ooze out of your eyesockets?
