Diaz: Hear me out. Because we're loading the box, we can max blitz Jones like crazy on every down. Brown: But won't that leave our inexperienced corners man-to-man on Broyles and Stills? Diaz: Only some of the time. The rest of the time they'll be blitzing, too. Brown: WHAT? You're going to leave their receivers uncovered?? Diaz: Of course not, I'm not stupid. I'll put Gideon on them. Brown: You're going to ask Blake Gideon to cover Broyles and Stills? Diaz: Why not? He's crazy fast for a white guy. Brown: What are you going to do on obvious passing downs when they've got an empty backfield? Diaz: Put four on the field. Brown: Dime coverage, that's more like it. Diaz: No, no, no, four linebackers. We'll go from a 4-3 to a 3-4. The extra linebacker can cover a reciever. Brown: What about the fourth receiver, you moron? Diaz: If the corners are blitzing that will free up a DE to cover a slot receiver. They won't be expecting that one.
