geez, Baylor only scored 18 points in the 1st half, and only shot 20 % against KU. KU only leads 26-18

Sure hope Lon isn't satisfied with his 1st post season win at OU. Wouldn't mind seeing KU's trees tweaking some of those injuries just a little, either, and Baylor coming back and pushing them to a couple of OTs.

Holy Cow, that outdoor venue outside of the KC arena had more ISU fans that we have at our home games. Great start by us though. Hope we can keep the pressure on.

 

For a good shooter Buddy throws up some serious garbage.

Like to see Cousins take between 7-12 shots in the 2nd half, Woodard has been pretty solid.

 

I've noticed that for the last several games, sort of like Heupel when he screwed up his wrist at the last of the NC season, he wasn't very accurate down the field. Hope Buddy's not hurting, and it's just that teams are defending him closer or it's something that's out of sync in his shooting motion that is easily correctable at HT. You're exactly right though, he's thrown up some long bricks. We sure need him to get hot in the 2nd half tonight.

 

Spangler looks so lost lately

 

I do not understand. We are not that good from beyond the arc to be constantly taking them.

If we do not have balance, inside game, we lose. simple as that.

Agree about Spangler. He had a nice game on the board last night, but he is none existent on the offense.

unfortunately we have no one off the bench ready to fill in.

 

Thomas is 1 FOR 1. One shot from our post guy. Unacceptable. Attack the bucket, make them foul you. Stop passing out to the guards for 3's.
