Sad news y'all. Dave Graw, the picture taking guy at the SF.com tailgates passed away some time this weekend. My family and I spent the weekend down at the lake house on Texoma and when momma got home she tried to call him. No answer. My youngest son was heading to Norman and momma gave him a key to Dave's apartment and asked him to check up on him. He found him in his apartment. Called 911, but it was too late. He was gone. He wasn't feeling good last week, and momma checked up on him a couple times. Last time she saw him was Friday before we headed to the lake. He was feeling pretty puny, but seemed OK. Damn. Anyhow, please drop a thought/prayer for Dave if you would. He was a good man.
Damn! Prayers to his family and friends, and to Dean's kid-o. That had to have been tough on his to find Dave like that.
You don't know the half of it. Turned 21 on Saturday at the lake. Party city. Go home, go check on a friend...gone. Mother****er. Seriously. Poor kid.
That is a terrible situation all around and I am sorry to hear of it. I hope everyone recovers well. As for Dave, I wish the classic Irish saying applies. May he be half an hour in heaven, before the devil knows he's dead.
