Every game I have watched OU play, the defense on the wing crashes down every time the ball is dished inside...only to leave the wing wide open for a 3. Why do they do this? ISU 15 3 pointers. A&M killed us on 3s late. Missouri tonight. Why cant OU just play straight up and stop getting sucked in?
Because they're often times doubling someone because they don't have the athletes to play man up. They decided they were going to take Royce White out of the game vs. Iowa St and they got killed as they constantly doubled him all game. We need athletes bad!
Can't speak for Mizzou, because I didn't see most of it, but the ISU game was a factor of Royce White. He's one of the best in the conference, and we weren't gonna let him beat us. The gameplan worked (make somebody else beat us), but they were just knocking down too many shots. White only had like 3 points if I remember correct.
