We are finally on the wrong end of a BCS screw job. I can't believe the BCS didn't learn that teams like NIU, UCONN, etc do not belong playing against the big boys.

The BCS is maybe one of the dumbest ideas in the history of college football. With maybe the exception of those helmets Notre Dame wore earlier this year.

I'm hearing the same thing. The BCS is a freaking joke!! NIU and Louisville jump OU, LSU and Georgia for a BCS game. It's a broken system. Do a ten them playoff and settle it on the field.

The BCS Bowls aren't the best bowl games anymore. You have the BCS Championship game and then just a bunch of other bowl games. Nobody cares about a 5-loss Wisconsin, Louisville, Northern Illinois. Actually, it is a little bit funny. lol

 

Who cares. Cotton Bowl is just as worthy. And far better than Fiesta.

Cotton Bowl will be the second most watched game. Recruits in Dallas.

I'm guessing that the tv viewership of the bowls this year will be a tiny fraction of normal. Good. There is nothing like pissed advertisers that will force a change. Of the match-ups there are very few that I'll have any interest in watching. 5-loss teams on New Years Day? Really?

Blech. Was hoping the Sooners would get to play LSU if not in the BCS.

LSU vs Clemson in Chik-fil-a, and Sooners vs Aggies in the Cotton now on the interwebz.

The whole system is a joke. Cant wait for the four team playoff. I think alot of the non-sense will stop. There is no way NIU, Louisvlle and Wisconsin should be sniffing a BCS bowl. I think we had a better shot at beating Florida. A&M Offense with OU defense will not be pretty. Landy will need to be on Fire in order for us to have a chance.

Looks like I'm saving some money this year watching from my couch. The BYU game was enough for me realize what a crappy stadium Jones designed and I see no reason to go back.

I'm not sure the selection committee would have been prettier (for non-SEC schools) this year for a 4-team playoff. since so many SEC teams were stacked at the top of the polls they would have probably had 3 SEC teams and Notre Dame for a playoff.
