Radio crew says Perine just got Pruit's single game rushing record.

We've had some great backs in our history.
And those backs played against a lot of bad teams.
This record is nothing to sneeze at.

 

Perine rumbles to single game Sooner record...and the train keeps a' rumblin'.

His throwing game is comical.

 

If CT throws that ball just a little below the ionosphere I think it's a first down.

 

I will say his throwing is consistent..consistently high

That poor Wisconsin guy. What if he ends up only having that record for 6 complete days?

 

I know it's only Kansas but what Perine has done and what the defense has done so far is impressive

 

With all the things that have gone wrong this season, I think we could really use a freshman setting the all-time record to keep us in the news. Could help with recruiting.

Give Perine this possession off, though. He can only get a little over 30 yards, so that wouldn't help much.

 

IN CT's defense... any of you try to throw a football in the cold and rain? OK... any of you try to throw a football in the cold and rain, when you've got a RB racking up over 300+ yds and you're throwing maybe once every 10 - 12 plays?

C'mon...

I don't care what the consensus is on his throwing arm... this game is a throw-away.

 

Defense has played with more confidence. The rain has hurt KU's offense, I'm sure, but still, OU D is showing a little more swagger.

 

The single game FBS rushing record is currently 408 yards, held by Melvin Gordon, Wisconsin vs. Nebraska, Nov. 15, 2014, 25 rushes.

Perine still in. Not sure why, though. The game is in hand, and this isn't going to get him much closer to the record. I'd rather us throw, or put somebody else in.

 

400 yards tends to help that per game average. lol
