TMNT: $24,255,205 on March 23-25

3-day totals.

 

do people really make a point to go to see movies like Blades of Glory on opening weekend?

Lots of Tarrantino fans do make it a point to go see his flicks on opening weekend however.

or at least, thats my estimation. Blades of glory gets the people that were going to the theater to just see anything. Grindhouse gets the fans...plus a few people that were going to the theater to see anything.

 

It's a hard call, really. The only reason I don't bet the vFarm on Grindhouse is its running time. Blades Of Glory will be able to run more screenings than Grindhouse, and when you add in the slack-jawed "Will Ferrell is the funniest man ever, and he proves it by playing the same character in every movie he appears in" fanbase...It pains me, but I may have to give the nod to BOG.

 

I'm betting on blades so that grindhouse will win

 

At 100:1 odds, I'd bet on Bri landing a spot on the London Philharmonic.
