What does it taste like? I have never had one, and it looks... odd. Are there bones? And if not, why does it look like there are?
And why does it come and go so often? If people actually like it shouldn't it be permanent on the menu? I personally think people just miss the idea of having it and buy it because this could be the last time, but it actually taste like a microwavable barbecue sandwich.
I've never had one either. I think they are just formed into that shape to look like a small rack of ribs.
I had one when they 1st came out with it many years ago.....it was nasty as ****. A true processed and formed mystery meat.:upset:
Here's a cut and paste of my post on 11-13-06 about the McRib: "The late Sam Kinison said of the McRib that it was an experiment by McDonald's to see if people would eat a piece of crap slapped between two pieces of bread. He said they should call it the McSh%t Sandwich. Maybe it is a yearly experiment or a way to get rid of leftovers." And here we are 5 years later during the exact same time of year discussing the McRib again. I've never had one of these. I need to bite the bullet and try it at least once before this mystery meat sandwich goes back into hibernation.
It's my favorite sandwich from McDonald's. Makes eating there tolerable a few weeks a year. I had one last night, as a matter of fact. I saw the little official "Pork" logo on the marquee at the drive through, so I think it's made of pig.
