136 games. The last time i watched an OU game from home was in November 11, 2003, Texas Tech in Lubbock a little over 10 years ago. 6 conference championships, 3 national championship games, 8 BCS games. every game Adrian Peterson and Sam Bradford ever played. today i'm sitting at my house, waiting for my daughter to be born. today is her projected due date, so travel is really out of the question. i'm almost at peace with it i was a fun ride though.
It happens to the best of us. Congrats on the baby and here's to a successful delivery of the newest Sooner! Boomer!
Dude 10 years is so amazing. That takes some incredible dedication and sacrifice. Congrats on that and especially on the little girl!
And here I am at Amelia Island watching the game on TV Keeping my streak of not attending an OU game since 1966 intact 48 years and counting You'll never catch my record
When I read the title of the thread I knew your streak was over. I'm just glad it was for something exciting and not something bad. Great streak. On a side note I planned my kids so this wouldn't happen from September to December.
Congrats on the kid, but poor planning on your part, man. Poor planning. Last time I watched an OU game from home remains October 5, 1991. OU at Iowa State.
One of mine was born in early September too. I tried planning, but sometimes it hard to predict a drunken stupor. I only had to miss an early season cupcake.
Those early Christmas parties wreak havoc with family planning. But congratulations on the streak and the new baby!
I had no idea you were having a kid! Congratulations. You're good people and will make a terrific father!
