Every list I've seen so far (surprised there's so many to talk about, since the title is barely 24 hours old) has been conditional, with Texas No. 1, IF VY returns.

 

True but we are in official offseason mode now and endless speculation is all that remains.

 

As long as we're into endless speculation and worthless articles, here's one that might tickle most Sooner fan's fancy. Jon Wilner of the San Jose Mercury News says if VY leaves, tOSU should be the preseason favorite, lists OU number 3 and Texas #8.
