clearly taking care of a guy who he believes took care of him. Ruffin can coach there is no doubt about it. I think it can only help the staff.
I know this is an older thread but I'm just now returning to the site and having to start over. This thread stands out with me. I was happy to hear Lincoln hired Ruffin. They worked together when the roles were reversed. Ruffin saw the abilities of Lincoln and helped advance him. I don't look at this hire as a buddy buddy thing but Lincoln hiring someone proven and qualified to help him coach the players. If Stoops leaves I have no doubt Ruffin could more than fill the void. Kudos to Lincoln on his good first hire.
