if we lose, i'd like to see us lose a hard fought close game. never understood why we seem to implode in so many big games.

Clemson is a Damn Good team and didn't need any help and the BS was totally unnecessary. Had a really good season just wasn't our night

Losing 40-6 was an implosion. Tonight wasn't.

Clearly we have enough of a sample size to declare Venables > M. Stoops.

Disappointing. Clemson played a full game. The Sooners looked a little tired and beat up the 2nd half.

    Congrats, Clemson.

    Good season, Sooners.

    5-0

Our offensive line is a damn joke guys...it got exposed (as it did against Texas with good athletes) I've never seen so many whiffs...

Agreed. I even hope that Clemson DE can play in the final as I'll be pulling for anyone but Bama (in vain, most likely).

We have got to do something about our linebacker talent. The drop off at linebacker once Evans went out was extreme. Evans is inconsistent, but at least he hits people occasionally. Shannon acted like he was trying to herd sheep.

That should be a new thread, bowl performances under Stoops do not reflect the season........so what's the mysterious reason?

A mobile QB beat us again. Texas & Heard/Swoopes beat us and were pretty one-dimensional in doing it. A healthy Boykin & TCU probably beats us - and we aren't even playing in Miami tonight if that happens.

Losing Walker hurt more tonight than we realized - they gashed us up the middle all night with Gallman.

Let's face it - 11-2 is not bad. But we didn't reach the ultimate goal. Time to re-tool and fill the gaps left by Tapper, Striker, Shepherd, et al. Time to recruit and build up the lines.

    We will be back.

Obviously you aren't a Braves fan, if you were you'd recognize the signs.
