We were pretty good before Sterling went down. Awful after.

We were pretty good before conference play. Blew our wad early.

We are going to suck again this year because we still have no answer at QB and a lack of talent to throw the ball to unless one of the freshmen really steps up.

Don't you trust the transfers too?

Early reports are good on Westbrook so we'll see. Still have to have a QB get him the ball though. At the end of last season, TK still couldn't throw the ball out into the flat without it being a lateral about 75% of the time, and he couldn't see anything over the middle of the field. He can improve on one of those, but not the other.

The good part about OU being terrible through and through is that there will be no "yeah but" to reference like there was the season before.

OU didn't win the Big 12. "Yeah, but we beat Alabama!"

OU didn't beat Texas (2013)/OSU (2014). "Yeah, but we beat Alabama!"

OU was out of contention for the national title after yet another annoying loss to Baylor. "Yeah, BUT DAMMIT ALL, WE BEAT ALA ****ING BAMA!"

The current coaching staff was mostly not around when the Alabama Sugar Bowl victory happened. The house has been cleared and while there's a few Stoops left standing, there is no more Josh Heupel, nor Jay Norvell to kick around.

OU was terrible last year and that's not a bad thing now that we're no longer suffering through Tyreek Hill returning an ill advised punt. NEW SEASON HERE WE COME!
