Re: Scheelhaase to announce college choice He's likely going to KU, announcing on a KC radio station per wwls. However, I thought Jarboe was UGA-bound and I thought DeMarco Murray was SUC-bound saving their announcement for TV. Stoops doesn't like the "ceremonies" very much.

I heard from a co worker of mine that claims to be hooked into the Illini network that he told their coaches to be by the phone at 6:15 tonight so he can call to verbal. I hope he is wrong. I know this has no validity whatsoever. Just telling you what I have heard.

I'm not sure we need to. We've been fortunate the past couple of years, so I say we don't take anyone unless they are a bona fide stud.
Morgan Newton Jacob Karam Drew Allen Ryan Mossakowski Probably going to send out a new batch of offers pretty soon. We definitely need to bring in at least 1 QB to run the scout team. Maybe a JUCO. We'll be looking at only 2 scholarship QB on campus for 2009. No thanks.
Hays ran it like a stud, but he had a lot of experience and was pretty savvy. It's only 1 scholarship and it's not like this is a position you ever want to be short on. E: Maybe bringing in someone to run the scout team solely is foolish. But there's no way I want to go into next season with only 2 QBs on campus with a scholarship.
