Ive felt like this for the last few games... they have been against weak defenses yet we run the ball 1 in about every 10 plays... what happened to running the ball to wear them down by the later quarters?

we should be plowing holes thru this defense and keeping their O off the field.

As much as I'd like to blame Landry and Venables, they're actually two of the bright spots in this game. With the exception of one run and one pass, I think our D has played really well, and with the exception of the fumble, Landry has looked really good. It's really hard when your receivers can't catch the ball.

The team we have on the field tonight is pretty average talent wise. We have no middle presence on defense. O Line and RB's are missing blocks, LJ is throwing high, getting nervous. Injuries, too many kickers on skolly etc. is showing up on the field.

This hurry up spread this year has regressed beyond belief. Our running game is terrible. Our o-line cant run block for crap and it seems to put the whole team in a rut.

Yep. Since RB went out, we've had more drops than I can count. IIRC, LJ hasn't had a TD pass since RB's injury.

Did anyone see David King get absolutely blown off the ball during that goalline play after the fumble return? He was driven 8 yds deep into the end zone! I tell you, Schmidtty is the one that needs to be scrutinized.
