That flop you heard in west texas sums up this season.

To me, defending our home territory agains't the pokes will barely give me any joy what so ever for this season.

Yea I won't be happy either. Even w/ the bowl win over Northwestern who we are projected to play even w/ a win over the Pokes. I will be kind of happy when Tech loses their bowl game though.

Well, good for Leach, it's hard to hate on him.

Who cares if TT rubs it in. If our players don't care whetehr they score or not.

Oh BTW, IMO when you start seeing players leave with injuries like today it is a sign that they have given up and don't want to play through minor injuries any longer.

 you are embarrassing, go root for osu

I've got no animosity towards Leech. I'm much more upset that our team showed no heart.

Somebody just one-starred the game thread. LOL.

The one bright spot is that OU can put a serious hit on Texas' SOS now by kicking Aggie's @$$ next weekend in Norman. My biggest hope in football now, is for someone to replace the whorns in the NC game. Tx to Fiesta Bowl.

I never thought I would EVER see an OU Stoops-era team give up, but they have. Everybody deserves blame today- offense, defense, special teams (you can't even kick it into the end zone when you have a strong wind behind you), coaching- EVERYBODY! Darn, I'm glad BBALL season has started. I haven't said that since the '90s.

You think this team didn't give up today? I hope to God that they did. There's no other excuse for the performance on both sides of the ball.

Why is this team so consistently flat on the road?

Wouldn't matter I don't think the one dimensional whorns will win the MNC game anyway.

Why is this team so consistently flat on the road?

It has become the culture of the program. That and losing to Texas and flopping in BCS bowl games. Until our coaches realize that it has become the culture we will contiue along the same path....

The D has tried their hardest but the O on the road is terrible...

I remember thinking in Aug that the O line cant be as bad as everyone was saying... Maybe I should start listening to the jokes on ESPN.

LJ has the deer in head lights look outside of Norman!!!!

Fanima has now claimed that our team has given up in the game, quit on Stoops, and now he is saying we are faking injuries cus we dont give a ****, he is being an azz just to be an azz. If you believe all of that is true then I have nothing more to say to you

Where is the pride and anger of 99-01.

Was mike the backbone of the team??

Nah, I don't believe that.

Today was one of the worst games of the Stoops era, though, even taking into consideration all that has happened this year. When we failed to score the touchdown and only took the 6-3 lead, and then gave up the long play on the next possession that Tech converted for the 10-6 lead, we were done. The team is just mentally fragile on the road, and they have been for several years. As a fan, I'm frightened that it continues to happen.

We looked slow and sluggish from the get-go.

When they showed them coming out onto the field just before the game I thought they looked flat and told my wife "Here we go again.... Hopefully the D can keep us in the game."

Postgame press conference?

Where does a fella find that on the internet? I want to hear how Bob explains this most recent display of horsesh*t.

Didn't see that one coming......... Not much to say that hasn't been said. Beating OSU would make everything feel right again. Boomer Sooner.

exactly, beating osu will make things better, not great but better

GrapevineSooner

Better...until the bowl game. And I'm not 100% convinced we'll win next week against OSU.

You can blame injuries to a certain point, lack of depth, inexperience, etc.

Today was just flat out embarrassing. I'm not going to start pointing fingers for what happened today. Only that I'll ask name one loss in the Bob Stoops era that's been worse?

There is just no excitment, anger, fire, or emotion with this group of coaches... Josh seems to be the only one coaching with emotion!!!

As soon as they ran out on to the field, I looked to my wife and said, "Want a pizza?"

We both finally agreed and had Chinese instead.

They "played" like a team that wants the season to be over. Regardless of the outcome of the OSU game, they should probably stay at home bowl season and spare the rest of the country. Maybe they'd be better off meeting with the coaches, who need to have a meeting with themselves also, and spend the time contemplating what they want to be when they grow up vs. going to a bowl game.

I think we are required to accept any bowl bid extended to us -- at least if it comes from one of the Big XII tie in bowls.

That's part of the bowl contract -- the bowl agrees to extend a bid and the Big XII agrees to supply a team.

As the conference shares bowl money, if one school refused a bid to sit home and sulk it would hurt the other conference members financially.

I think we are going somewhere.

If the team is unhappy with the destination, well, they should have thought about that when they could still do something about it.
