We have tried to run up the middle, outside, screen passes, downfield passes, wildcat, no trick plays yet but it doesn't matter when the blocking isn't there.

If you want to go after coaches, go at them because this team doesn't play the same away as it does at home, obviously. This has nothing to do with scheme or play calling. It has to do with preparation and toughness.

I liked 05 a little less but we lost to good teams. This year outside of Texas I don't think we've lost to a good team.

Agreed. Very frustrating to see the same plays being called when they are working at a 25% rate. That type of playcalling is not going to take you very far.

In all fairness to Wilson on that it's still up to the players at some point to produce; i doubt he has any idea what will work at this moment

Chuck is sitting in San Diego, not coaching because it would cost him a fortune to take another job. He is hostage to the California State Board of Regents. He leaves, he loses his contract...even though he was booted.

That is true and that part is really puzzling; it's not like we have played world beaters on the road this year

It's okay, we are all just frustrated with the product we see on the road; yes there are alot of reasons, but it still boils down to being able to execute with the players you have left; i don't think it's all KW's fault by any means, but as the offensive coordinator it's up to him to fix it and it's just not getting fixed

IMO this has nothing to do with play calling. Landry is predictable for TT dbs. He has got to get to his 2nd and 3rd reads. O-line needs to give him more time.

I'd like to see us try to utilized Landry's legs more on rollouts 2nd half. But you're right, we've tried lots of stuff and we're getting beat at the line.

Some things:

-Stop handing the ball off out of the shotgun deep in the backfield when your O-line sucks. We never get big runs handing the ball off out of the shotgun.
-Get your O-line blocking laterally down the line of scrimmage so you can run counters instead of running straight into a collapsing O-line who can't block straight off the ball.
-On pass plays, have your O-line cut block low instead of standing up so high and getting blown back into the pocket.
-misdirection, misdirection,misdirection
-shovel pass
