The thing that is BS is that there is not a team in the NORTH worth playing in the CCG. The whole system needs changing as pitiful as the North has become or dominant the South has become to your pick. You need the two best teams playing in the CCG, period.

So perhaps HC Stoops had more of a hand in last week's Defensive domination than we gave him credit for. A lot of folks were willing to "forgive" Venables for several seasons of questionable defensive schemes and play calling. Alas, we're back to the rather porous OU defense. Fortunately, I never jumped off the "Fire Venables" bandwagon last week. So, I'll say it again - we either keep our mediocrity on defense, or we make a big coaching change to bring the D up to the next level. OU may get lit up by the dual-threat Tebow if we can't get our D back to last week's level. As long as we have BV, though, I'm not sure such good games will be anything other than "flukes".
