Our KO return guys get up into traffic and slow down and try to cut. Wouldnt they have better success if they just hit the afterburner and blow thru the traffic? Seems the better returners do this. Odds are better at blowing thru an arm tackle at full speed and even if you get hit, you're the hammer and not the nail.

Mobile passing QB's have always given this defensive scheme fits. When all they can do is run OR stay in the pocket and throw, they do pretty well but if the guy can run they always give up those long scramble runs.

Our offense is really good. Not able to dominate the run game if the D sells out a'la TCU. But so many threats in every direction. If they stack the run, we can pass at will. If they pressure Sam, he can burn 'em deep or on a screen. If they play too many DBs, Murray/Brown/Madu will run all over 'em.

The secondary and special teams worry me.
Moreso the ST as the secondary hasn't had to play except late in games when we weren't really calling anything more than vanilla D-schemes.

I couldn't disagree more. I see 2 of 'em back there. Murray and Brown are great runners. In these vanilla schemes so far this year they haven't had many big breakaways. That'll change if teams don't want to see the Bradford-Manny hookup for 25+ yards every drive.
