The OC stuff is just bland cookie cutter **** now. It's abundantly clear that Jr. had all the talent, and the old man owes a **** load of his success to his son. The bastard will never admit that, but it's absolutely the truth.

Which one of you have, lets say...designed a car or motorcycle part and programmed a C&C to cut it out of blank billett stock?

SicEm? How many moped parts have you cookie cut?

How many mopeds have you chopped the frame on?

I've often wondered if they would have had the same success if they had never been on The Discovery Channel. Probably not. Thing is, Senior, as crazy as he seems to be was smart enough to get out of creating Iron Gates for Property owners and start designing old choppers. Everyone there owes him a huge pat on the back.

I feel a bit sorry for them as he is who he is. I don't think he's ever been perfect but I do think he tried to help Mikey not end up with drugs or alcohol nearly ruining his life. I think Jr. and him stand a chance to working things out as Father and Son and Jr has proved he can Start and Run his own Business. That said, if Discovery wasn't involved and a great commercial for attracting customers to both of them...they might not be millionaires. They would just be another bunch of guys struggling to get a piece of the American Pie.

They have learned how to get paid by doing lots of charity work too.

Senior did well on Trumps Show and his Son (Jr.) showed Mikey how to market his paticular brand of crazy.

I guess that seeing guys make a success out of hard work is a yawner for Bill. I have found some of the things they do fascinating.

    Re: American Chopper

Watched the show before they became so famous. Once the money started rolling in, the troubles started. I didn't mind the occasional argument, but once the fighting became the focus of the show, I lost interest.

And to answer your question ST, if Discovery hadn't have come along, they would be exactly what you said; another bunch of guys struggling to get their piece of the pie. And probably wouldn't have such a broken relationship.

So, the old man just started making a business for himself when his son came of age? mmmk.

Hey... maybe T BOONE can pony up and start a Stilleater newspaper... but the players would probably just use it to roll the weed.

    Is that what I said?

The custom chopper business (he had a machine shop before that) was started in partnership with his son. Jr. has the creative talent..that much is clear. Not to mention the fact that it was Jr. that got the ball rolling with the TV show.
