Just for fun... who makes the first monster-big play in 2007?

    ... against UNT???

Circumstantial for me... if we get the ball first:

    Reggie Smith (KR)
Malcom Kelly (early deep-strike to wide-open best player on the field)

... if we elect to defer:
Depends on which corner is covering their "best" receiver. Reggie or Marcus Walker on the pick-6... book it.

Who cares, just let there be lots of them, and may they happen in abundance all through the season!

Re: Just for fun... who makes the first monster-big play in 2007?

If we go on D first...forced fumble by Jeremy Beal or John Williams!

If we have the ball 1st...Murray takes it to the house from 40 plus yards out!

Garrett Hartley, on the opening kickoff, line drives it off an opposing front line players helmet. The ball bounces right back to him and he takes it in for a TD.

    BOOK IT!

Not a one of you have mentioned the 99-yard TD pass from Keith Nichol, yet.

It's actually going to be a 99 yard TD on a rollout.

Re: Just for fun... who makes the first monster-big play in 2007?

How awesome would it be if someone like Gute got in there and took off for the longest run of the day or something like that?

    OR...

Each of the captains just-so-happened to have a career day...

That would be something like a 200-yard day for Gute, 3 TDs for JJF, three INTs for Marcus Walker, five forced fumbles for Lewis Baker and a 180-yard day for AP, wouldn't it? Eh... we'll save that one for Mi-yammy.
