VMware is pretty cool for installing Linux on a virtual machine too.

Why not just format the drive and use Windows XP only?
if I could get a blu ray drive in a mac, I would consider it more then I am now (that and I'd have to run bootcamp for too much of my software)

I'm a huge Vector fan myself, but the core 2 duo is doing very nicely with 4 gig of ram.
