Not bad. I was thinking more in lines with J.D. Runnels or Kenjaun (Sp?) Rasheed.

Stanley Wilson as a runner. J.D. Runnels as a blocker.

Stanley was a breakaway runner at all times. EXPLOSIVE runner whereas Lydell was a tough short yardage guy who could break one every now and then.

Runnels, can you say, "PANCAKE BLOCKER!" with some great hands.

Put a lid on it! Kiss it goodbye. We gave it away, and apparently thought it made sense to do so.

Depends on the offense you like to run. Carr in the bone, J.D. in the pro-style offense.

That catch JD made in the Holiday Bowl to put us up was freaking awesome!

    Kenny King was a stud.

Too bad that FB is a position that's fading.

    Things sure have changed.

Re: OU's Best Fullback of all time???

Seth Littrell would be my pick! Dude was money every time for anything we needed, including 20 TD's and 400+ rushing yards his JR. and Sr. years.

He's coaching at TTech now, this is from his bio...

A four-year letterwinner at Oklahoma, Littrell was team captain on the Sooners' 2000 National Championship team and played under Leach during the 1999 season, when Leach was the OU offensive coordinator. Littrell rushed for 231 yards and seven touchdowns during his junior season, finished his career in 2000 with 11 rushing scores. He scored twice during his career on receptions. The Sooners also played in the 1999 Independence Bowl.

King would be the runner....Runnels the blocker. Bother were excellent at what the offense was doing at their respective times.
