Nope, all those little dials and numbers are too hard for "old eyes" to see.
It's a young man's watch who is somewhat concerned about his masculinity,
    a DE so to speak.

A defensive end? I like it. I must have issues.

I wear a Seiko titanium kinetic watch. Has what I need. Durability, good looks, time and date.

I have a bunch of other fancy watches. My in-laws find it funny to buy me watches for Xmas, because I have no need for them. My grandpa gave me his Rolex as a keep sake. Great watch right? My inlaws have given me, a fake rolex, a concord, a Corum, 2 seikos, and a cheapo sports watch. I haven't got a clue what to do with them. The Corum is pretty damned cool though. Waaaaaay cooler than I am.

DE? Yeah, I'm clueless yet again.

I've gotten to the point where I just use my cell phone as my time piece.

Fake Dokken, I'd like to do that, but since I work on the ICU floors of the hospital, cellular phones may interfere with the devices used to keep the patient alive. Plus we use military time and its a pain in the *** sometimes.

OUinFla, thanks for "having my back," I think?

Baja, admit it ...you have a crush on me, don't you!?

After that Senior crack? No thanks. Wouldn't want to "rob the cradle."
But the watch is similar to one of the ones that my Dad had - hence, the old man watch.
And military time isn't a big deal. Had to use it all the time in the hospital too.

Off to soccer again. My daughter is hoping the storm moves in in time to cancel her 6PM game. Senior paper to finish.

I cant remember a thread talking about watches before.

I have a fake rolex I paid $12 for, about 16 years ago.
I have changed the battery twice, and the band is begining
to look a bit shabby, but otherwise, it has been a perfect
    timepiece for very few bucks.
And as an added bonus, it has
fooled everyone who knows nothing about watches when they
    have checked it out.

You are a freakin cheapskate! You own a muli-million dollar business and you have a fake Rolex?

On a side note, I will not pay over $125 for the watch. I'm bidding on it on eBay and if I pay more, seeing how I spent a fortune on golf clubs ...I think my wife might leave me.

    Congrats on the watch.

I have a couple of Seikos - have to have a secondhand and Seiko makes the best looking ones with a secondhand.
For fun, I have a Mickey Mouse watch - Target special. The links are mouse ears. The kids love it.

And I have a source at Fossil watches.

I used to have a source at Fossil. They give great employees discounts. I had a friend get me a wallet for $5. It was supposed to be $45. That's what I call profit margine. I also have a Mickey Mouse watch. I love it.

Check this out. This is one of my ALL TIME woulda coulda stories. In 1996 when the Cowboys were in the Superbowl, Kidd Kraddick on KissFM had a song writing contest for a trip for trip for 2 to the Superbowl. I wrote a song (I played in bands, long hair, the whole bit) and won the contest. I took my dad and we headed to Tempe. We went to the game and afterward I was sitting in an airport bar talking to some guys about the game. One guy was talking about getting rid of O'donnell and the guy next to me said, "Hey, we'll give you Switzer and we'll take O'Donnel." Then the guy kept harping an Switzer. I told him that I was a big fan of Switzer's aand I would appreciate it if he would stop talking bad about Switzer. He said that it was a free country and he thought Switzer was a joke... Dale Hansen... Blah blah blah. I told the dude that he needed to be quiet. Then he started attacking ME because of my hair and that I was greasy (um, trust me, I was very grooming intensive) and that I was a loser and would never have one of these. He had on a stainless steel Rolex. I was about to show him my solid gold Rolex when HOLY CRAP! I switched it out for my Mickey Mouse watch so it wouldn't get stolen. I basically told the guy that he had me on the watch deal, but he was much older than me and wasted and I could still kick his ***. I told the bar tender to watch that guy (the guy turned out to be a lawyer) but who stepped in tto save the day?/ Those two hispanic lawyers that were always on TV back then. Was it Condos and Condos? I think that was it. Anyway. I have always wanted to go show that jackass that I had a nicer watch than he did. I get a kick out of that. Damn the luck.
I'm working up a Rondo thirst.
