Condolences to his family and his team.
Not meaning to make fun, but I did notice a small bit of irony while reading the story. Looks like the coach of the Demon Deacons record at the time of his death was 0.666.

Man. I'll bet Chris Paul isn't doing well right now.

RIP Coach...
that sucks. he was a helluva coach, and his players really seemed to like and respect him.
RIP Coach
Condolences
My condolences too.
I've always thought he was one of the most underrated coaches in all of college basketball, especially having to work in the shadow of Roy Williams at UNC and Coach K at Duke. Too bad it had to take something terrible like this for him to receive all this attention now.
that absolutely sucks. he always seemed to be a very good guy and a great coach. So long Coach Capel
In a bit of irony, the one game that Capel coached in the NCAAs while he was at Virginia Commonwealth was a loss to Skip Prosser-coached Wake Forest.Originally Posted by oumartin

I seem to recall that Presser was a guy that Tramel thought was going to be OU's next coach. My prayers go out for his family.
