    Omar Leary

I don't know about u guys but I think he's gonna do alot of things for us this year..perfect size for a point guard he's quick and he's a lefty who can shoot long range and penetrate the D...trust me he's no Chris Walker..I think we got a major steal in signing him.

I hope so! I have a feeling we're going back to the tournament this year.

One would hope that a JUCO All-American could come in and make a diff, lets hope so...We need a solid pg if we are going to try and make a run this year

With a record of 109-23 (.826) and six Big 12 championships in 10 seasons, Stoops has reason to be arrogant. But he is not. He is somewhere between humble and unimpressed.

    Re: Omar Leary

He need not be a star, but he DOES need to be a steady hand.

Hopefully, the addition of BG and the return of Clark, along with TG and L2 will result in more low-post scoring and a better inside presence.

And we really need Crocker/Davis/Godbold to be scorers/shooters.

It's hard for that to happen if we don't have a reliable PG.

I don't really care if Leary is a scorer, but he'll be useless to this team if he can't break a press, make the right plays, and be an on-ball defender. If AJ has to handle the ball a lot, we'll be in trouble.
