point me in the direction of a good link for a piece of light reading on how to convert video to ipod vid?
got one for my son a couple of days ago and im about to send this three hundred dollar piece of shiite across the room.......

there are video conversion programs, the names escape me, google or download.com should probably have something
this one is freeware. i guess QuickTime Pro will do it if you want to buy something.

i haven't tried it, but nero ultra is supposed to do the conversion

I use PQ to convert DVD or any other video format to Ipod format. You can even do basic editing and cropping to get rid of the end credits and such ****.

I've got a friend who has a friend who may or may not have bought cucusoft's program for converting DVD's to Ipod movies. That friend may or may not have spent 40 bucks or so well worth it considering all the movies he/she may or may not already have on DVD>
I may or may not have seen that very software available on a torrent. Or not.
