What are the scenarios for making the Big XII tourney? In with a win tomorrow?
Top eight teams in the conference make it to the tourney. OU was tied for 7th place with Baylor and is only a half game behind KSU awaiting the outcome of the KSU vs Baylor game tonight.
Baylor came from way behind last night to beat KSU closing the gap between both BU and OU on 6th place.
If BU beats KSU again then OU and BU are both tied for 6th with KSU a half game behind going into tomorrow's games.
So... OU is in the conference tourney after today's win I am pretty sure. KU could possibly tie OU with a sweep of NU and an OU loss to TTU tomorrow. I really don't know if they would win a tie breaker. Let's hope the Sooners go out and win tomorrow so we don't have to worry.
KU took 2 of 3 vs. OU so I'm guessing that we don't want to tie with KU.
KU lost to Nebbish and Baylor beat KSU so the worst OU can do is finish tied for 7th with Baylor if they both lose tomorrow. Sooners may end up with the 6th seed in the tourney if they win and BU loses.
