the XT is kinda cool...
i'm mostly kidding, but the CR-V is shaped about the same as a Forrester, it's not as much of a wagon as the Outback is

i've never been to a car lot where i didn't feel like i was getting bent over. i'd just appreciate a goddamned reach-around.
for future reference, steve bailey honda on NW expressway is the place to go if you're looking for a honda.
i'd been jacked with all over town until i went out there yesterday.

mrs. critical test drove the CR-V EXL the other night. i really liked it, so i bought one for my mom. don't say anything, cause it's a surprise. (she doesn't read this board.)Originally Posted by sanantoniosooner

There was Hondo...
Cant go wrong with a Honda!
I'm fixin' to trade in one of the gas guzzlers for another one myself.
good choice!
Buy two white ones...
Name them Boomer and Sooner.
i couldn't believe how reasonable the CR-V was compared to other similar vehicles with the same options. for example, that new ford crossover with leather/navigation is about $5K more.Originally Posted by oumartin

could be why the zips have been killing us in the car biz for the last 30 years.
I put 253,000 on my first honda and it never gave me a lick of problems other than the CV joints being junk.( I think they have since cured that ill)
I traded my 05 in for a pickup cuz I needed it for work but crap I am gonna go trade the pickup off for another one. I will take a hit but I will make up the savings in overall cost and fuel savings!
I would buy two but I will just use my wife's trailblazer for my work since I don't have to pay for the gas anyhow on it.
