I'm glad you had a good speech. We had McCain at mine, and while his speech did talk about some important issues, it didn't really seem like a commencement speech, more like political pandering. Now, Katie Couric last year, that was the most commencement-y of all the commencement speeches I've heard at OU, and I was at every one from 2001 through last year.

I think they had George Tenet at mine, but I didn't go, so I can't say for sure. Didn't go to the grad school one either. Just the college fake-diploma-handing-out one for the parents. Glad the speech was good.
