    weekend golf thread

    so i got to meet joey sindelar yesterday. nice guy. "please, call me joey. not mr. sindelar." no, he isn't one of the top pros on tour, but it was nice to see him hit the ball. the boss got to play with him.... i got to watch him push his first tee shot into the trees.
    I don’t know if the block on that last one was due to low trajectory or if the guys up front didn’t hold their ground well enough. I’m not convinced it matters. We have every reason to believe the ball could have gone through the uprights and the refs would have signaled first down Oregon. - D.E.

    Joey used to hit his irons a ton - don't know if he still does.

    still not bad. his kid is 16 (looks 25) and looks like he can hit it a mile. pretty good player from my understanding.
