Blvins says NO FINAL 4 for Paris,ever!

Why I watch him I don't know but last night was TOO much.On the Blitz he says Courtney WILL NEVER PLAY IN THE FINAL FOUR.I am not one of those people who thinks just because we have Courtney we will automatically make the Final Four.I am in fact a person who believes that we will make the FINAL FOUR again because of coach Sherri Coale.If she can take a team to the Finals without a Courtney Paris on it,I remain convinced she can do it WITH HER.

Sherri is a smart coach ,she knows that Courtney CANNOT win a title alone ND SHE WILL CONTINUE TO RECRUIT TALENTED PLAYERS TO COMPLIMENT HER.imho THIS MEANS SHE WILL BRING IN QUICK,ATHLETIC PLAYERS LIKE tHOMPSON,HAMMONDS,STEVENSON,oh wait they are already on the team.I'll quit ranting now.The players I mentioned and others to come are going to get MORE playing time next year because of all the seniors we lost.I think adding these players to the low-block presence of the Paris twins and Olajuwon will allow OU to play against quicker teams.

For Blevins to say that Paris will never play in the Final Four,is to disregard Coales coachind AND recruiting ability.I know Blevins was ALL-State in basketball as well as football but does that really make him a better judge of the OU womens basketball program than Coach Coale?I think NOT.

Corso is at least joking around and makes sense from time to time... he's just the national d*ckhead, not the local. Therefore he's more known. Blevins I think likes OU a lot, but is a mjaor downer. I mean, he seemed like he was going to cry when Bomar got ousted, and when Sampson left, he was saying stuff like Oklahoma could be a long ways away from ever having a good basketball season again. And I'm hearing him on the radio a while back, he said something about Stoops was "probably" getting tired of his "reputation" as "the guy who couldn't win a big game." As if to say Stoops first six years were void, the Holiday Bowl was void, and all the **** we went through to get to 11 wins in 2006 was void.

On the original subject... I think most basketball fans are far too concerned with gettig into something that only FOUR get into annually. You want a shot at the National Championship, just be concerned with your team getting into the tournament. Final Four don't really mean sheeyatt, other than 'good season' or 'almost.' You don't see people in football bragging about getting into the BCS if they lose there. You don't see people bragging about baseball when they lose out, no matter how far they went or how good they appeared. The fact that you're in a name conference, you won the conference title, with some of the most elite womens BB names playing in your conference... should tell you that Courtney P. and everyone surrounding her did something right. Sweet Sixteen anyone? Or was it "****ty Sixteen?"

I listen to Dean every so often just to get a cheap laugh at his incompetence. I refuse to watch him on TV, however, because seeing and hearing him turns the comedy into anger. Like others, I cannot fathom how he has his job. The OU undergrads on channel 7 in Norman are better at reading a teleprompter than him....without trying to dress like the Elton John of Oklahoma.
