Sounded like they were cheering. I saw Kellen looked kind of choked up, which made badger go "Awww..."

when Kellen spoke after the game, and thanked his father (was really choked up).....there was applause that i could hear on the radio. now, it WAS after the game so that's a different statistical sample of OU fan than before the game....
I'm glad that they didn't boo.
Me too. I'm a little surprised actually, so yay fans!Originally Posted by Boomer.....
I liked the crowd's applause for Sampson, but WTF was with hundreds of fans streaming for the exits with 1:20 to go, we're down by five, with the ball??? Idiots.
so... badger still here. How bout them LOSERS at espn NOT TELEVISING kellen's first (and likely ONLY) start?
WHAT GIVES?! The number one favorite player (and teammate) on the team starts and WE do NOT get to see it?!
espn sux.

I put it at about 50% for both groups.

Look if we're up (or, God forbid, down) by 30, then it's fine. I understand if you've seen what you've come to see. Personally, I like watching the second team, or the first team work on things. But, that's just me. But the people streaming for the exits last night seriously made me wonder why they came at all.
It's not just basketball, either. People left the Baylor football game in '05 when we had an 8-point lead with about 5 minutes to go. A fumble, a TD and a two-point coversion later, we're in overtime.
Good riddance. Gives my fat *** more room to stretch out.
