    Yeah, I just saw "ON THE BEACH" again.

    First time since it came out in 1959. Had Gregory Peck, Ava Gardner and Anthony Perkins. It should be required viewing in the Moslem world.
    Put a lid on it! Kiss it goodbye. We gave it away, and apparently thought it made sense to do so.

    Any other "old-timers" remember this movie(or the book)? I became interested in seeing it again after thinking how much I remembered liking it way back when, although it is depressing.
    Maybe the Islamists SHOULDN'T see it, as it might get them thinking how wonderful things would be after death.

    The book is one of my favorite books of all time. I've read it 5 or 6 times at least.
