I have a Sony PCG-K45 Notebook computer. My cdrom/dvd drive went bad.
I bought a brand new one but can't find any info on how to replace it.
Does anyone know anything about it or have a link to a site that could help?

Aren't those plug and play?
I mean...maybe one small screw out and you just pull out the old one and stab the new one...
I've had a Dell, Toshiba and an IBM Thinkpad...I think all of those were like I was saying.
I'm not an expert though but I play one on the SO at Soonerfans.com.
Just checked my Dell and it has a button on the outside next to where the drive pops out...
I just pushed it and a small tab came out and then I pulled the drive out.
I've seen those. I thought this one would be that easy, but it's a sony.Originally Posted by StoopTroup
