Depends - do you mind a few miles of detour?
Exit on Main Street in Norman - head east and go all the way downtown (until it turns one-way).
The Diner is on the north side of the street. Prepare to eat a LOT.
... that's not food.

The Classen Grill. Also Beverly's or, in Edmond, Around the Corner. YWIA.
Well, crap.
Although, in retrospect, I don't know if I would classify any of those as necessarily "quick." More like old-fashioned sit-down places.
Well, crap.
where in oklahoma will you be at breakfast time?
The plan is to leave Wichita around 4AM, we'll probably eat breakfast around the OKC area.Originally Posted by jk the sooner fan

hmm, problem with a sit down breakfast is that its going to cause you to really push for time getting to the game......or it would seem so
i'd rather get to dallas, near the cotton bowl and eat then
I wasn't expecting a sit down, I just wanted to know if any of your local/slash regional places can beat an egg mcmuffin with their drive through stuff. Does Whataburger have breakfast, or Braums? That's what I was angling for or if there are still Hardee's with breakfasts out there.Originally Posted by jk the sooner fan

whataburger has really good taquitos but they're very proud of them (price)
braums definitely has breakfast and as far as "fast" food goes, they'd probably be the best....
Cool. I figured I might as well try something new while I roll through the area given the time constraints I'm working with.Originally Posted by jk the sooner fan

braums is never "fast"......well, faster than a sit down, but slower than a typical drive thru
We'll have to see what kind of time we're making then.Originally Posted by jk the sooner fan

Jimmy's Egg is pretty good too. They've got a few locations around OKC.

It's also a sit-down place, though.
Well, crap.

There's a Johnnie's Express at Main and Berry in Norman. Their breakfast beats the hell out of most other places.
