At least W was the 2 time Governor of one of the largest states in the union. He at least had experience managing a state.
I just don't know what Obama has actually done. Just as I don't know what HRC has actually done to be deserving of the nod. I always tend to favor accomplished Governors over Senators.
Don't forget, JFK hadn't done crap when he was elected to the White House in 1960 either. BTW, that was the last time anyone went from the Senate to the WH. Usually, a governorship or the vice-presidency is required enroute. Of course, that whole JFK presidency ended badly.
