    My Nephew is Home!

Just landed in Fairbanks today after a loooooong tour in Iraq-including getting extended the day before he was supposed to come home last time.

    Yay!

Thanks everyone on his behalf. Haven't gotten a chance to talk to him, but as soon as I do I'll pass along everyone's well-wishes.

And, after a "loooooong tour" in Iraq, that's probably exactly what he'd like to be.

Heh. I actually couldn't legally buy him a beer when he left.

    I ain't saying that I didn't. I'm just saying it wasn't legal.

You folks be sure to be patient with him. There are quite a few things he's going to have to "re-learn" and few things he's going to have to "un-learn."*

*including un-learning use of the f-word as an adjective, verb, adverb, pronoun and proper noun

Seriously, welcome home Mike Rich's nephew. Thanks to him for standing on that wall for us.

Eh, he used the F word as all of the major parts of speech before he left.

It's good to know an uncle can have that kind of influence.
