The The - "The Violence Of Truth"
No Quarter, set to some battle footage. On YouTube.
The Shins - "The Celibate Life"
Set to...um, nothing. I could set it to the BC/Miami game, but then that would entail watching that cripple fight.
Duncan Sheik - "On A High"
Ah Launchcast, if you had a mouth I'd give you a big wet kiss...
The Outfield - "Your Love"
Oh. HELL. Yes.
Josie's on a vacation far away
Come around and talk it over...
I was actually listening to that earlier today. Right now I'm listening to BC and Miami setting offensive football back about 40 years.
"The choices we discern as having been made in the Constitutional Convention impose burdens on governmental proceses that often seem clumsy, inefficient, even unworkable, but those hard choices were consciously made by men who had lived under a form of government that permitted arbitrary governmental acts to go unchecked." INS v. Chadha, 462 U.S. 919 (1983) (Burger, C.J.)
John Moreland & The Black Gold Band - One More Headache
One of the newest, rockingest bands in Oklahoma. bri, I think you'll love them. Heck, I think other people will like them too.

John Moreland & The Black Gold Band - "Hand Over Fist"
Dude, how did we ever recommend bands to people before MySpace? Good stuff...
Rhino, your avvy makes me think of the brutal beatdown I put on my nephew today at NCAA '06 (his parents only let us get him, like, every other one. They're weird like that.) I was, of course, OU, and he was Virginia Tech. Night game at Layne Stadium. And I f'n TORCHED his punk self for over 400 yards passing by ENA; 300 of them to...Lendy Holmes. At one point, we have this exchange:
Nephew: Who's number 11?
Me: Lendy Holmes.
Nephew: Does he still play this year?
Me: Yeah, but they've moved him to cornerback.
Nephew: Why?
Me: Because he couldn't catch the ball very well as a receiver.
All this taking place as Lendy is burning him for another 80 yard touchdown.

Shaun: Who the hell put this on?!?
Ed: It's on random.
Liz: For ****'s sake!
Shaun: Okay, Dianne, take Mum somewhere safe. David, kill the Queen.
David: What?
Shaun: The jukebox!
...
Shaun: Why is Queen still on?
David: We have a situation!
Shaun: I KNOW!
at this point in the process, I can only assume it was a typo and they meant to say "cram"...
