He sure as hell wasn't the greatest OU QB of all time, but I'd hardly call Hybl "subpar." I've argued this now until I'm blue in the face but most programs around the country would have killed to have a QB of Hybl's quality. He lost what, 3-4 games as a starter and won OU and the Big XII its very first Rose Bowl and getting MVP of the game?
I'm glad OU has extremely high expectations..they should it's OU...but man Hybl deserved a little bit more respect than he got.
It was a joke dude. People on the board get there panties in a wad when you dis the guy. Now I was never a fan but thats another issue.
