stooges: funhouse
Big Star: #1 Record
Big Star: Radio City
Sonic Youth: Daydream Nation
Jimi Hendrix: Axis: Bold as Love
Echo and the Bunnymen: Crocodiles and Porcupine (possibly the most underrated records of all time, 4-5 stars by Rolling Stone, when they came out)....but a band turned into syth-pop crap by teen movies like Pretty in Pink. the smiths and the cure have been "re-discovered" by college radio and such.....you never hear about Echo.

I still think live albums should be included. Dammit!
Here's another solid entry, great road trip CD.

And I really think I have a case for live albums. I mean, what's more impressive musically, a perfectly produced album or a collection of solid live performances? OK, I guess you can make a case either way but damn. If we are limiting this to produced albums then do "remastered" albums count?
I looked up U2 Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby. Couple-a "skippers" on both.

I've got the box set of everything he ever released...and only 1-2 stinkers in the bunch. He had a remarkable career.Originally Posted by OUAndy1807

Dude... that song is awesome. It was one of the songs that John Lennon looked back on as the greatest songs he wrote while with the Beatles.Originally Posted by OUAndy1807
With the exception of "Fitter-Happier", there is no question that this should be on the list.Originally Posted by birddogbbq
