haven't heard any of it.... never have liked him much.
"I'm a mother****ing party all by myself."
A simple "no" would have sufficed.

Just heard one of the tunes on it....on Alice Cooper's radio show. He is apparently a Dylan fan.

Why is Amazon selling it for so little? Less than $10. I would have thought a new Dylan album would command a higher price. Anyway, I just ordered one. And it's on your recommendation... you better be right. Or... or... something horrible will happen to you.
I liked it, it seems his voice is a good fit for bluesy music.Originally Posted by Mike Rich

Rolling Stone has been pimpin' it for awhile.
I haven't heard it yet, but I'm interested.

the book that came with it is pretty cool as well.
In the beginning, the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.
Thunder on the Mountain is a good tune. It's one of his best records since Infidels, IMO.
Holy crap! PG is old enough to know the Steve Martin line? Good grief, I guess I misjudged the girl. If I were single, I'd be happy in my pants.Originally Posted by proud gonzo
I haven't heard it yet but I may pick it up. For most of my life Dylan was one artist from the 60's that I never really cared about. However, after seeing the Martin Scorsese documentary on him, I have newfound respect.Originally Posted by Mike Rich
he's done "bluesy" before here and there. he's put out some decent records in teh last decade....not all-timers by any means....but pretty solid. Time out of mind and love and theft are worth a listen.
really the bootleg series of stuff that's been put out gradually over the last 15-20 years or so is all pretty excellent, that i've heard at least. and obviously the stretch of (not correct order I'm sure) freewheelin', bringing it all back home, highway 61, blonde and blonde, nashville skyline, john wesley harding are pretty outstanding. with blood on the tracks tossed in the mix...as well as the basement tapes with the Band. that stuff is all superlative.

on the first bootleg series release, vol. 1-3, this one:

has a really cool live "spoken-word piece" (as we'd say today) on Woody Guthrie that is outstanding.
