I just saw the trailer for this. It looks like a pretty cool flick. Of course I might just think that because I have an above average interest in World War I History.

For the good old American lifestyle: For the money, for the glory, and for the fun... mostly for the money.
Obviously the only reason you like it is becuase you have dirty socialistic tendancies.
and he likes a man in uniform
Hey, I will be rooting for the Germans in this movie. Also, you see why I do not venture over to the football board that often. It just gets me a riled up for no good reason, and I start making outlandish arguments for the hell of it. I should save that for the politics threads.Originally Posted by hurricane'bone

I figured as much, but it looks cool visually, and that counts for a lot in my book in non-comedy movies.Originally Posted by Okla-homey

Looks like they stole my idea. I never saw the orig film till after I wrote the treatment. My story was centered around ECC Genet and the guys.
SoonerinabileneOh sweet jesus. Its like watching the special olympics in high definition on here now.
Its prolly going to be a lot like "Pearl Harbor" in that regard. Visually stunning but fast and loose on historical accuracy.Originally Posted by royalfan5

Which is why I get my history from books and only expect entertainment from my movies.Originally Posted by Okla-homey

It looks like they decided the aricraft could fly around 160 knots back then, judging from the trailer.

Judging from the size of the explosions, you would think they were firing sidewinders at each other.

You tell me it's the institution. Well, you know, you'd better free your mind instead.

Were air forces anywhere close to that size in WWI? The sky was filled with planes and zeppelins in one of the shots in the commercial that I saw, and I found it tough to believe that there were ever that many planes in the sky in one battle during WWI.
La ola es mía.
Wait, wait, wait....
There's a football board?
Ahhh... so I take it you took to the law books while in lockup?Originally Posted by Okla-homey
