In all seriousness, Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street Band probably have the most potent combination of musicianship, output, cultural importance/influence, and commercial success.
Oh, 2/3rds of the Hendrix Experience are English, and they started in London.
THe Beach Boys and Buddy Holly and The Crickets have to be considered also.
