about the upcoming season. Maybe it's bacause I have some big changes in my life about to happen the same time the season starts.

What about the rest of you clowns? Are you as excited about the season as you normally are?

I don't know why, but I haven't been this pumped for a upcoming season in a long time. Maybe it's the anticipation of watching ENA.

Re: I'm not as excited as I should be

t.o. killed football for me. I've been a Dallas fan for almost 30 years. I've sat through crap after crap and win after win. I've endured the scab team being better than the real team during the strike. But nothing has gotten me down like them signing owens. No matter if they win the Super Bowl this year, I'll have no joy in it. I've never been so disgusted. I didn't even renew my season tickets this year (after having them for 10 years). I can opt back in next year if I want, but I'm still unsure.

And, it has filtered over into all football for me. I can't get really excited. I imagine I will come Saturday, but as of now, no. Every day in the paper it's the same new/old article over Thompson or Peterson. It's just getting monotonous.

Hopefully the actual game will kickstart me back.

I still hope Dallas loses/implodes then admits they shouldn't have signed satan as a receiver.

    Yep.

    30 years.
    Countless items of memorabilia.
    Tattoos (since covered)
    General freakiness.

All gone by signing that guy.

That should pretty much show my feelings on him. I can't think of anything even to compare.

When the drum line marches out into the end zone and you hear that "dun-un-dun-un!" and you know it's about to be on, it'll all be better.

Between living in Austin , having a baby to take care of for the first time , two straight losing seasons , and no Coach Snyder on the sidelines , I haven't been less pumped about a season Since Stan Parish was our coach.

My brother, you need to snap outta the funk.

Pro football, and University of Oklahoma Sooners football are not even the same sport. How can you let something from the pro league affect your OU deal? I'm a huge Packer fan, but when they lose, or do something stupid it's like "meh." When OU loses it's like shedding blood.

Terrell Owens is my absolute #1 punkass hate him guy. I'd give up my season tix too. But OU football is something altogether separate. Now shape up!

And up in your luxury seats you can't even hear the drumline start cause there's all those lawyer's wives talking about going to Affair of the Heart and the Firehouse Art Show......

I am ashamed that I let if affect my overall football enjoyment. I let the terrorists win.

Re: I'm not as excited as I should be

I was very excited about OU's season.

    Then Bomar deflated it.

Now I'm back to excited...probably more excited than last year. PT goes ont my all-time favorites list of players for unquestioningly doing whatever has been asked for the good of the program.

And I kinda agree with Boarder on TO...how Jones could sign a guy that pulled that crap at midfield of Dallas' stadium, let alone the plethora of other crapdomnessities he has done...I just don't get it.

Look at the bright side. Maybe, just maybe TO will practice again. And Roy can behead the POS. Hell, I'd probably buy ca-boy season tix if that happened.
