    Most of them are border towns or near border towns, I believe.
    The fans on here are known for their objectivity, fair play, open minded welcoming of others, debating in an upfront, firm, but respectful manner.....TexasLidig8r 11/21/04

    Bell & Bell Gardens used to be so full of Okies that they were called "billy
    goat acres". lots of depression era Okies, that gave up picking oranges
    & went to work in defense plants. (during & after the war)

    lots of those towns, like East LA, have large mexican populations.
    (also huntington park)
    (also most of the ones in CA & TX.)
