Heh, mistake #1. Letting your daughters friend have your cell number.
Try reading some of a book, or taking a warm bath to relax enough again to go to bed. Nothing too exciting, or your mind wont be able to easily switch back over into sleep mode. Food, also, will keep you awake. And Id sing for you, but I am horrible at it. It would not put ANYONE to sleep. It will, however, keep anyone and everyone awake.

We have always known that heedless self-interest was bad morals; we know now that it is bad economics. FDR.
When they come home for the summer and they don't have a curfew (because they didn't have one at college). We have the let us know what your plans are rule. Give us a general idea of what you are going to do and when you plan to be back. Call my cell phone (or text) any changes. As long as I know what is going on, I am fine. But I hate it until thy are back home for the night. <sigh>
