We are having a family reunion at Grand Lake in a couple of weeks. My aunt has rented 4 or 5 fancy condos or something for everyone to stay in. I've never been there and don't even know where it is. Where do I get beer? What is there to do? Where should we eat? Any sights we shouldn't miss? Where do I get beer? Thanks.

The lake is too large to guess what is around where you will be. You can buy beer anywhere around the lake. Dripping Springs is a great party cove where boats tie together and everyone gets drunk. BTW, DP is near shangri-la, if that helps any. Find out where you are staying.
there's some good places to eat in the little towns near the dam.
this is a GREAT lake.

i'm just funnin' ya but at 60ish(i think) miles long, location on the lake will make a difference.

most of the stuff mentioned above will be south on the lake from you but there is a shatload of fun to be had near where you'll be. Another good cove is drowning creek. It's not as slutty or active as dripping springs but a great cove to drop anchor and party. Although if it isn't a holiday weekend, dripping springs shouldn't be too crazy.
